Delivery Information
Stove Delivery Charges
All stock items shipped to mainland England, Wales, and industrial areas of Scotland are typically delivered within two to five working days of purchase, provided that the correct delivery and contact details have been entered. The majority of England postcodes receive delivery within just a few working days, while addresses in the northernmost parts of Scotland may take slightly longer to reach.
Our website features a delivery calendar at checkout, allowing you to choose the day that best suits you (Monday to Friday). We’ll always do everything we can to ensure your order arrives on your selected date; however, as we use an external courier, please note that unforeseen delays can occasionally occur.
The standard delivery fee of £33.33 + VAT covers delivery of any stove and pizza oven to the majority of UK mainland postcodes. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE DELIVERY SURCHARGES
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Any stove ordered from Stoveworld UK will arrive on a pallet and, depending on the order, can weigh more than 200kg. Deliveries of this nature are very different to standard courier deliveries.
On this page we will try and outline as much information about the delivery procedure as we can but if you need any more information, please call our office on 01256 889397.
Ordering from Republic of Ireland? Please note, orders shipped to Ireland are sent DAP (Delivered at Place). You will not be charged VAT at checkout, but you will be responsible for paying any import duties and applicable taxes once the shipment arrives at the destination.
When will my stove arrive?
We use a third-party courier for all of our deliveries, as we operate on a national level. When you place an order for a stove with Stoveworld UK, you can either select a preferred delivery date or leave the field blank, in which case we will deliver your order as soon as possible. Delivery typically takes 2–3 working days, depending on the time of year
Where will the driver leave my stove?
The delivery is a door step/kerbside delivery and the driver is not required to take the goods into the property for insurance reasons. Drivers however do their best to assist you as best as possible and most will help you move the stove. Steps, gravel driveways and narrow gates can prevent the driver leaving the goods in the desired place and in some cases, prevent a delivery altogether.
What happens in case of a delay?
Should there be any delays with a delivery, we aim to let any affected customers know ASAP after we are notified by the couriers. In the rare occurrence of a delay, we are not responsible for any loss of earnings if someone has stayed at home to wait for an item to arrive. We never recommend booking a fitter for the day of delivery; we are not responsible for the installer's time/fee if the stove does not arrive on the advised date. We would usually advise ordering your stove in advance of your installation date by at least 2-3 working days to avoid any issues should a delay occur. Should your delivery be delayed, we are not obliged to refund the delivery charge.
Do I need to be at home?
All deliveries are made from Monday to Friday, with the usual delivery times being between 8am and 6pm. We do not receive estimated times of deliveries from the couriers, so someone would need to be available all day on the day of delivery. We ask you to leave us a contact number that we can pass on to the couriers as the drivers will usually call 30-45 minutes prior to delivery. If someone is not available on the day of the delivery, the courier will often leave the pallet at the property. If you do not want the goods to be left at the property, please let us know so that we can explicitly state this to the courier. When goods are left at the property, a photograph will be taken by the delivery driver and the pallet network portal will be updated. Please be aware that taking delivery of a pallet while you are not at home is done at your own risk. We cannot be held liable if the depot does not put the pallet exactly where you want it.

Access Issues?
Most larger goods like stoves, pizza ovens and liner kits will arrive on large 18 ton curtain side lorries. If you live down a tight lane, please let us know in advance and we will book the order on a small vehicle "restricted access service ". Sometimes, smaller vehicles will not have a tail lift because they are not large enough to withstand the weight of the lifting equipment. In some cases, the driver may need assistance lifting the item off the vehicle to the ground. If we are not notified of restricted access in advance of the goods being shipped, this could delay the delivery.
It is the driver's discretion as to whether he thinks the vehicle can get down the road and safely turn around. It is often stated that a dustbin lorry can get down the road but this is not a fair comparison as they will often have rear wheel steering. If the driver cannot get down the road he may ask you to meet him at another location to unload the lorry or take the goods back to the hub to be loaded on a smaller vehicle and delivered another day.
Does my address affect the cost of delivery?
In the current climate delivery costs are rising at a fast pace, especially for the heavy palleted goods that we send. Every delivery is subsidised with the true cost much higher. We try to encompass as many deliveries into the cheapest band. However, due to the vast difference in delivery costs between postcodes we have had to place some in higher bands. Traditionally this would just be the Highlands of Scotland but now includes more rural areas in England and Scotland.
